How do you know when a girl likes you and is playing hard to get vs. a girl not being interested.



Reason I'm asking is because a this girl I like has admitted to liking me (more than a friend), gets nervous and hide or run when I come around and has told other people she likes me but every time I try to talk to her, it sees that I'm putting fort more of an effort than she is and she gives short or one word answers. And when I try to hangout with her she it seems she basically try's to ditch me (mabye because she dosen't like me or is nervous, I don't know). Also every time I try to get her number she says no because she doesn't know me, and every time I try to arrange a date she is busy.



yesterday she waited for me, so we can hang out, but I had detention,but we still talked. Also last Friday I walked her home and we talked then. And in gym class she comes near me so we can talk.



So girls if you was playing hard to get with a guy what types of thing would you do, and do you think this girl is playing hard to get or what....?How do you know when a girl likes you, but is playing hard to get?

That's no playing hard to get to me, she sounds indecisive. I think you should try talking to her when you guys are alone cause some girls get nervous or try to act different around there friends but that's just normal for most girls. Just try to get her alone and have a person to person talk.!
This is what you need to do....ignore her for a while, and if she does like you then she'll make more of an effort to be around you. But if she isn't into you then your better off.
this is basically what i did when i wanted this guy to like me but not think that i am desperate... what i did was i didn't answer phone calls and when he came up to me i pretended that i was busy, but when he wasn't looking that interested in me i went up to him to talk to him. So he kinda learned that i wouldn't talk to him unless i went up to him. Then we got to know each other really well and he asked me out.



maybe you should just not sound so interested and then you will get to know each other really well.

I don't think she is playing hard to get, I think there are other factors unknown to you. She does sound a little shy and tongue-tied, like her parents haven't taken the time to take her places to socialize with ppl. her age. So it's more likely that her social skills haven't been properly developed, 'n it embarrasses her. She doesn't know how to ';communicate'; with others, especially with boys. If I'm right, then you need to be more gentle and kind with her to win her trust.
