How is a guy supposed to play hard to get when we're supposed to make all the moves?

So I really have no idea how to play hard to get. And it's suggested that things didn't work out with the last girl before I didn't play hard to get. I'm thinking about experimenting a bit with this new girl I asked out. Any help would be great. And is this a effective thing to do with girls (seeing as they have more options than guys)? How is a guy supposed to play hard to get when we're supposed to make all the moves?
Eh, it depends on the girl. If the girl is someone who wants a relationship and not just a boyfriend for the heck of it seeming hard to get will NOT be a good thing.

My suggestion is that if you are looking for a relationship don't seem too hard to get but keep in mind that most women don't want a guy to get in too deep too early. Just take things slow, make yourself available but don't constantly be the one initiating going out and doing something. The girl has to be the one to do that sometimes.

Good luck. How is a guy supposed to play hard to get when we're supposed to make all the moves?
.No one should play hard to get. It's a silly, emotional game that is a waste of time. If you like someone, be honest about it. That doesn't mean you throw yourself at their feet, but pretending not to like them (or not to care) is foolish. All that does is risk them discounting you and moving on to someone who shows them a level of interest.
