Girls: Is playing hard to get really worth it?

Girls say it's best to do for guys to make sure they just don't want them for sex.



Yet I personally have yet to find a girl worth working for. The ones who like to play hard to get seem to be players.



What exactly is playing hard to get? Is it being open with the guy but holding sex for a long time? Is it never calling or seeming interested, or never initiating anything?



If so, then how does a guy tell the difference between a girl who is interested and girl who just isn't? How does a guy stay motivated or even interested then?



Also, wouldn't the girl take the guy for granted anyway?

Playing hard to get in the I might be interested but I might not...I'll keep you posted type of guy.



If a girl is interested they will present their selves to you ...be what ever way they know how...like calling you, walking near you...talking to you...laughing at your jokes...finding way and excuses to touch you and stuff.



Some girls like the chase. And some doesn't. I don't think there is a sure fired way to tell. You have to talk to them and feel them out ot see what is their way.



How does a guy stay interested??? Well it all depends on the guy I would think.

in the beginning i don't like them to be all touchy and stuff but once later and time we get to know each other and im fullycomfortable with the person and i like him and then thats when the flirt and the touchs begins
If she's playing hard to get - then she's likely using you - to spend money on her - taking you for granted. If a girl is interested in you - you should be able to tell because she will be open with you. Playing hard to get is not being open with you - it is a waste of time.
i would say that playing hard to get is just a game to get a guy interested lot of girls play this game alot there for making them players i think sometimes its wrong to seem interseted and then pull away so he keeps coming back to see whats going on. but then again it can be fun too, as most men cant be bothered to keep trying so in a way it shows dedication to but in the long run i dont think its that important if a girl is interested in a guy its not always the best thing to try and push him away so he will come bak but heyy its an opinion!

personally, i would define playing hard to get as showing a lack of interest in a guy but at the same time, giving subtle hints that you DO like him. i guess it is kinda hard to tell whether a girl is playing hard to get or whether she is just not interested, i never really thought of that. I think when girls play hard to get not only is it a waste of time on both parts but also its a personal set up to be used. when a person gives such an effort and a girl plays hard to get...i would think after a while the guy isnt going to be interested in a serious relationship with her and might end up just using her for sex. thats not to say all guys are like that, but being a girl, i cant see what is going on in a guys mind, but thats what would be going through mine if a guy was playing hard to get with me.



and to all the girls that play hard to get so they wont end up with broken hearts and stuff;

stop worrying so much about having your heart broken or being used. nothing bad OR good will happen if you dont give it the chance too.

Playing hard to get is a number of things in ';girl world.'; Unfortunatley some girls just like to tease you and dangle themselves in front of you to see what your reactions will be. This tells us how you act around us and how you behave as a boyfriend. Some girls like to use guys for popularity or just the thought of having one to reassure themselves. It's very complicated but once you date a majority of girls, then you'll start un understand more and more. nd yes, girls take guys for granted sometimes. That's just (unfortunatley) how we are. I'm not! But at some point, all females do that at least on one point in their life. Don't be pushed around by them and stick up for yourself. Dump em' on the spot if you se any trace of ;playing hard to get, because they're just not worth your time. If you act as though its no big deal, then it'll just get worse.
