Why do girls 'play hard to get' and how can you tell?

Girls play hard to get in order to guage your interest. If you give up too quickly, then they figure you just wanted an easy score and didn't really want to put in the effort for a real relationship.



Unfortunately it can be very hard to tell when they're playing, or really aren't interested. The cues can be very subtle, and will vary from girl to girl. But my theory was always to assume they're playing hard to get. If they're really not interested, it will become obvious pretty fast. They'll get tired of dealing with you and will be blunt.
